Recognised Among Indonesia’s Most Promising Young Women Lawyers
Adinda Nur Zahirah, Associate at SKC Law, has been featured in the Hukumonline NeXGen Lawyers 2026 publication – an annual recognition of outstanding young women lawyers in Indonesia who demonstrate intelligence, leadership, professionalism, and a strong commitment to advancing the legal profession.
Published in the Spirit of Hari Kartini
Now in its eighth edition, the programme is published each year in the spirit of Hari Kartini – Indonesia’s national day of commemoration, observed on 21 April, honouring Raden Adjeng Kartini, a pioneering figure in the movement for women’s education and equality in the early twentieth century. The day continues to serve as a symbol of women’s empowerment and progress across Indonesian society and professional life.
The 2026 theme, Women in Law: Strategic Minds, Sustainable Impacts, spotlights young women lawyers, in-house counsel, and legal professionals who are making meaningful and lasting contributions to the industry. This year, 97 profiles from law firms, companies, and leading legal offices were featured across the publication period.
Being selected for inclusion places Adinda among a cohort of practitioners whose career trajectories, perspectives, and professional development are considered representative of the best of Indonesia’s next generation of lawyers.
A Deliberate Career Path
Adinda’s practice focuses on intellectual property and technology law. Her path to SKC Law was not linear. After completing her law degree at Universitas Pelita Harapan, she began her career in litigation, where an early trademark cancellation case became a formative experience and confirmed her interest in IP. She then moved to a firm with a focus on dispute resolution and intellectual property before taking a deliberate step sideways into an in-house counsel role at a company in the financial services and commodities sector.
That in-house experience gave her a perspective that many practitioners in private practice do not have. Understanding how businesses evaluate risk, make commercial decisions, and balance legal obligations against operational realities is something that informs her work at SKC Law today.
At SKC Law
At SKC Law, Adinda handles complex IP matters for international and domestic clients across consumer goods, banking and financial services, and sports and entertainment. Her work includes bad-faith trademark cases, three-dimensional trademark protection strategies, and negotiation. She brings a solution-oriented approach to each matter, combining legal analysis with commercial awareness.
Adinda views IP law as evolving beyond its traditional protective function into a strategic instrument for supporting innovation and economic growth. It is a perspective that aligns with SKC Law’s approach to delivering straightforward IP services in Indonesia.
