    Role overview:

    As an Online Researcher in our Enforcement & Intelligence Team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and tracking online sellers engaging in the sale of counterfeit products on platforms commonly used by Indonesian consumers. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct detailed research and gather intelligence to support our enforcement efforts against infringers. By identifying key targets, you will contribute to our proactive approach in safeguarding our clients’ intellectual property rights.

    Requirements:

    • Diploma or bachelor’s degree – graduates in Criminology are preferred.
    • Strong research, investigative and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and evaluate data and digital evidence effectively – proficiency in using open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools is a plus.
    • Familiarity with online e-commerce and social media platforms commonly used by Indonesian consumers – relevant professional experience is a plus.
    • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify patterns and trends.
    • Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
    • Strong communication and evidence-based report writing skills.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaborate within a team.

    Patent Administrator

    Requirements:

    • Experience in patent prosecution would be advantageous.
    • Familiarity with current Indonesian IP filing systems and procedures, and with basic knowledge of patent prosecution practices.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate IP prosecution activities particularly on patent and industrial design matters, in Indonesia and foreign jurisdictions.
    • Prepare invoices and handle administrative tasks related to IP prosecution.
    • Communicate with the Indonesia Intellectual Property office.
    • Manage IP docketing systems to monitor deadlines and case progress.
    • Proofread and translate documents between Indonesian and English.
    • Assist lawyers by providing inputs on technical aspects for IP dispute and litigation matters.
    • Document Review & Preparation: Review English and Indonesian patent specifications, prepare required documents, and forwarding them to foreign clients and relevant authorities.
    • Office Action Responses: Assist in reporting Office Actions, drafting responses to office actions, providing technical advice, and handling other communications with the patent office.

    Associate – Enforcement & Intelligence Team

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law from a reputable university;
    • Licensed PERADI attorney and/or certified IP Consultant preferred;
    • Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia;
    • Strong interest in Intellectual Property Law with a solid understanding of trademark, copyright, design and patent laws, including relevant international treaties;
    • Adequate experience in IP enforcement, covering client advisory, criminal and civil proceedings, IP-related agreements, C&D actions, online enforcement, investigations, and/or cross-border protection.

    Responsibilities:

    • Advising clients on IP protection, enforcement strategies, and dispute resolution mechanisms;
    • Drafting and reviewing IP-related agreements (e.g., licensing, assignments, NDAs);
    • Issuing C&D letters and takedown notices;
    • Coordinating digital IP enforcement efforts with e-commerce platforms;
    • Conducting IP investigations, including market surveillance;
    • Handling cross-border IP protection initiatives.
