Reflecting on a Decade of Trademark Law: AKHKI’s 2025 Halalbihalal & IP Talk Show
This year’s AKHKI Halalbihalal Eid al-Fitr 1446 H brought together Indonesia’s IP consultants and government representatives for an insightful discussion on the past ten years of trademark regulation and what lies ahead.
Hosted at Toeti Rooseno Plaza, Kemang, the event featured an IP Talk Show themed “10-Year Reflection on Law No. 20 of 2016 on Trademarks and Geographical Indications and a Preview of the Trademark Bill.” Keynote speaker Mr. Agung Indriyanto (DGIP) and moderator Nidya Kalangie (AKHKI)—Co-Founder of SKC Law—discussed developments in trademark law, highlighting lessons learned, policy shifts, and updates on the new Trademark Bill.
In line with its commitment to empowering members, AKHKI also held a technical session on data updating within the DGIP system—vital information for practicing IP attorneys. The event concluded with a festive reception, where senior DGIP officials and AKHKI members came together in celebration and solidarity.
