About IP Xpose

Organised by the DGIP under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, IP Xpose is Indonesia’s flagship IP event. It brings together everyone in the country’s IP landscape to explore the latest developments and learn how IP can be leveraged from an economic perspective. This year’s edition featured engaging exhibitions, hands-on workshops where attendees learned directly from product experts, interactive talk shows, and business matchmaking sessions, with a special focus on MSMEs and IP-based financing.

The four-day event featured 35 speakers, which attracted a total of 10,000 participants, both on-site and online. The exhibition showcased 150 exhibitors, ranging from government ministries and agencies, MSMEs through the “Festival Beli Lokal,” the IP Office, universities, provincial pavilions, associations, and sponsors.

A key highlight was the launch of a new initiative allowing IP certificates – starting with trademarks – to be used as collateral for bank loans. This marks a significant step in integrating IP into Indonesia’s financial system, empowering MSMEs to leverage their intangible assets.
