Purnomo Suryomurcito, Indonesia’s Top Lawyers

Recognized by Asia Business Law Journal for Intellectual Property

Asia Business Law Journal has named SKC Law Co-Founder Purnomo Suryomurcito to its A-List of Indonesia’s top lawyers. He is recognised in the Intellectual Property category. We congratulate Purnomo on this recognition and express our gratitude to our clients for their continued trust and support in our work.

About the A-List

Asia Business Law Journal publishes the A-List annually. It identifies the leading private-practice lawyers in Indonesia across a range of practice areas. The 2026 edition covers more than a dozen categories. These range from capital markets and M&A through to intellectual property rights, and employment.

Asia Business Law Journal compiles the list through independent editorial research. For this, the publication surveys thousands of in-house counsel in Indonesia and internationally. It also draws on the views of partners at international law firms focused on the Indonesian market. All private-practice lawyers in Indonesia are eligible for inclusion. There are no submission fees and no self-nomination. The final list reflects nominations received, combined with the editorial team’s experience researching the Indonesian legal market.

The publication describes A-List honorees as “the star performers of Indonesia’s legal profession.” According to Asia Business Law Journal, these are the lawyers personally undertaking the country’s top legal work. They deliver solutions to complex problems and set the highest standards in quality, innovation, and the ability to handle complex matters.

Purnomo Suryomurcito

Purnomo leads SKC Law’s Enforcement & Intelligence Team. As an intellectual property lawyer, he has over 20 years of experience in IP enforcement and investigative matters. Over that time, he has built an extensive network of contacts with enforcement authorities across Indonesia. This covers police, customs, and regulatory agencies. That network is a practical asset. Enforcement actions require coordination across multiple authorities and locations, and the reliability of that coordination directly affects client outcomes.

His practice spans trademark and copyright enforcement. The particular focus is criminal enforcement – coordinated raids, criminal complaint procedures, seizures, and post-raid settlement. Recent work has covered clients in the technology, consumer goods, automotive, and manufacturing sectors. In several matters, upstream supply chain investigations have extended to overseas markets.

Purnomo is a registered IP Consultant with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. He is also a licensed Advocate affiliated with PERADI and a registered mediator with the Indonesia Mediation Center (PMN). His recognition on the A-List adds to a consistent record of independent acknowledgment.

SKC Law’s Enforcement Practice

Purnomo’s recognition reflects the work of the broader Enforcement & Intelligence Team. The team brings together lawyers and in-house investigators. This structure allows attorneys to coordinate directly with field teams throughout each enforcement operation. Effective brand protection in Indonesia requires both legal expertise and investigative capacity working in tandem, not in sequence.

As Indonesia’s IP filing volumes have grown significantly, the enforcement environment has become more active. More registered rights mean more disputes and more infringement activity. Rights holders increasingly need enforcement strategies that are structured, evidence-driven, and coordinated with the relevant authorities. SKC Law’s intellectual property services directly address this context. They include market surveillance, criminal complaint procedures, and post-raid settlement processes.

Acknowledgement

SKC Law congratulates Purnomo on this recognition. The firm also acknowledges the contribution of every member of the Enforcement & Intelligence Team whose work supports it.
