The International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition (IACC) has been at the forefront of fighting against product counterfeiting and piracy since its founding in 1979. Based in Washington, D.C., the non-profit organization brings together more than 250 companies and associations from a wide range of industries, including automotive, apparel, luxury goods, pharmaceuticals, food, software, and entertainment.
As part of its commitment to strengthening IP enforcement, the IACC hosts an Annual Conference—a forum where stakeholders can connect, share insights, and even collaborate on anti-counterfeiting strategies. The 2025 IACC Annual Conference will be held from May 14–16 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, San Diego, California.
Our Co-Founder, Purnomo Suryomurcito, will be attending this year’s conference.
A key topic on the agenda is O2O enforcement—a strategy that integrates online marketplace takedowns with offline investigations to effectively dismantle counterfeit networks. This aligns closely with SKC Law’s continued efforts to safeguard brands both in Indonesia and internationally. The IACC has pioneered initiatives like the MarketSafe® program, which streamlines the removal of counterfeit listings from major e-commerce platforms.
