Interns at SKC Law

Interns at SKC Law
SKC Law recently completed a three-month internship program for undergraduate students. The program, designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world IP practice in Indonesia, was a success.

In our most recent cohort, we had the pleasure of welcoming Rafi from the University of Indonesia and Ranjan from Prasetiya Mulya University. Both were placed in our Prosecution and Litigation Team (PLT), where they got involved in real case work—helping with due diligence, tracking the progress of IP registrations, and sitting in on weekly team meetings. It gave them a close-up look at how the PLT handles IP across different sectors.

Rafi and Ranjan also spent some time with our Enforcement, Finance, and Marketing teams, gaining insight into how all parts of the firm work together behind the scenes. While three months may seem short, we believe the exposure they gained and the perspective they brought was mutually beneficial.

To wrap up their time with us, the PLT hosted a warm farewell lunch, followed by a mock court trial exercise. Each intern was mentored one-on-one by one of our advocates. The trial concerned a copyright issue, and the room was buzzing with energy as the interns presented their arguments with confidence.

Interested in being part of the next cohort or exploring career opportunities at SKC Law? Don’t hesitate to reach out—we’d love to hear from you.
